Description Eyal Rozenberg 2024-05-06 09:11:58 UTC
When we insert an OLE object, the dialog offers us a checkbox for the choice between displaying the rendered object, or displaying an icon.

After having inserted the object - we can't alter this choice:

* The context menu doesn't have the checkbox
* The properties dialog, if it is available (in Calc it isn't) doesn't have this checkbox
* The checkbox is not to be found on the Edit menu or elsewhere on the menus, AFAICT

But - it is certainly possible in principle to change the display mode, and there's no good reason I can think of to deny this possibility.
